Begging the question: how can someone be hall worthy in their last year of eligibility but not in their first year? Did Rice mysteriously play a few more seasons while no one was watching to help pad his stats and get his BA up to .300 or something?
And as much of a self centered egotistical douchenozzle as he is, congratulations to Rickey. Just don't be in the back playing poker when you're supposed to be giving your speech.

Rice was marginal but I think everyone's so afraid of NOT voting someone into the hall it will be littered with all kinds of marginal players in the near future.

Why did Obama get elected to the presidency when just a few short years ago he was toking crack, pounding bong hits, and complaining about whitey?
