By "trashing" I mean, posting offensive material, attacking other posters, etc...like the place was a free-for-all.

The problem is, that group's definition of "fun" was: abusing other posters, hijacking threads, and posting inappropriate/offensive material.
That's not what this site, or the series of sites leading up to this site (postnet, stltoday, the real est 1 9 6 7) was all about and that's not what made those site's great. It was a lot of people carrying on interesting discussions, not childish & idiotic toilet humor that seemed to get worse each week.

LGB has made a nice recovery from a time when I was getting ready to shut the whole damn thing down because I didn't want to deal with the asinine BS anymore.

But seriously, if you don't like what someone posts you don't have to respond to it. All it does is compound the problem. Unfortunately, everyone is a tough guy on a message board so they think they have to voice their opinion on everything and everyone.

If people would just chill about 95% of the problems on here wouldn't even be problems in the first place.

I think we should rehash the whole SMP, illegal url, bannings, etc. every hour because it never gets old. Or I could post hundreds of nude pictures of myself in the "Ladies Turn" thread.
