Can you guys do me a favor?
After exploring different broadband options and speeds, I'm curious as to what speeds people are getting FROM YOUR HOME COMPUTERS.

And let me know what your test results are using the St. Louis, MO server.

I'd need to know:

1) the ping
2) download speed
3) upload speed
4) also list who your internet provider is and if you have cable, dsl, satellite, etc.

My speed using Cricket wireless broadband is 770k download, 550k upload, 140 ping.

And for fun..at work I am getting: 25mb download, 21mb upload, 14 ping. Geez.

Going through Comcast High-Speed, using the Columbus server, I'm getting

4.06 mb/s DL, 1.24 upload, 84 ping

I am not a fan of Comcast. It's okay and it's reliable but their cable service is worse.

At home I have about 10 down 1 up from Charter.

but will be getting AT&T soon wife retired from AT&T so we get fastest speed internet really cheap ,Charter sucks.

This probably doesn't work as good for me since i'm a long ways from St. Louis but here are my results:

U: 0.39 Mb/s
Ping: 74 ms

Using the recommended Bozeman, MT server I get:

D: 7.06 Mb/s
U: 0.38 Mb/s
Ping: 92 ms

ping 42ms
DL: 8.05
