Has anyone watched? City lights ruin my view, but I still saw a couple tonight.

I saw a few...one really big one that looked like a small fireball with a smoke trail...pretty cool.

There was a shower about 5 years ago when I was still living in Indianapolis. I drove out of the city and to the middle of nowhere in the middle of the night (easy to find "middle of nowhere" in Indiana). I stood out there and watched the meteors for at least an hour, and I've never seen anything like it. If you're ever in a position to escape the city lights, at least 20 miles out, I highly recommend it. I've never been really interested in stars or constellations, but it was an indescribable sight.

I watched for a couple hours tuesday night. I saw about 10. None very spectacular. Sucks that I live on south end of town and was supposed to look north east.

Yeah, at our new place, we're far enough out of town where it's pretty dark and you can see a whole lot more stars than you can in town.
Pretty cool stuff.
