I saw a few...one really big one that looked like a small fireball with a smoke trail...pretty cool.

There was a shower about 5 years ago when I was still living in Indianapolis. I drove out of the city and to the middle of nowhere in the middle of the night (easy to find "middle of nowhere" in Indiana). I stood out there and watched the meteors for at least an hour, and I've never seen anything like it. If you're ever in a position to escape the city lights, at least 20 miles out, I highly recommend it. I've never been really interested in stars or constellations, but it was an indescribable sight.
