It's an Epiphone, but it's my first guitar other than a Telecaster from the 60's that my grandfather gave me before he died. I can play a bass, but I can't play a guitar very well at all. I like the Les Paul sound, and it seemed like a good beginner's guitar. I couldn't get the picture to show it's beauty, so this pic doesn't do it justice. Its finish is really glossy, but it looks flat in the photo...

The Buffy videos to the left add toughness to your studio.

I knew someone was going to see those. They're the ol' lady's.

I figured you must have tucked away your martial arts videos and Slayer cd's before the photo.
Great looking guitar. What color is the Telecaster you have?

Thanks! I know it's a low end Les Paul, but it really sounds nice.
The Telecaster is kind of a yellowish-cream color with a black pickguard. I don't get it out much because of the sentimental significance, but he always took really good care of his things, so it's in prime condition.

Very nice guitars. I fell in love with Les Pauls when I was in college. My roommate played a Custom very similar to Goon's, except it was left-handed. Even playing it left handed, I knew what a great instrument it was.
I bought a Les Paul Standard for my wife several years ago. I like my Charvel Jackson Model 5 better though.

I was raised on the "Les Paul" and I've only recently started acquiring guitars of other shapes and styles: among them are Strats, PRS Custom and Soapbar II, and a Schecter C-1 E/A semi-hollowbody.
