I use to see this band in the 80's around St Louis (Bogarts on the Landing, Humphreys). Decent cover songs, not sure if they ever did any original work. What happened to this band, anybody?

Don't know what happened to Athena (but I went to high school with her), but I know a local girl singer who did a few gigs with some of the Hubcaps over the summer, so they are still around.

Since the SNES/NES favorite game, I thought at first you were referring to the NES game Athena. :-)

Sorry can't be of anymore help. Just thought I'd throw that pointless thought in. Best of luck!

Yes. She's a very good friend of mine. Actually met her at her and Farrell's wedding reception.

Laura is a cool chick. There aren't many girls you can talk ultra conservative politics with at a Chris Cornell concert.
I've been friends with Farrell for about 25 years now. And from that I have gotten to know several people like her, and then all of their friends. So, yeah, I'm sure we have several friends in common.

I don't find her to be ultra conservative. I guess we'd have to define "ultra-conservative" 8)

Well, it's not my place to talk about someone else's biz in an internet forum. But I'll bet she listens to as much RUSH on KMOX as on KSHE.

Well, Rush isn't an ultra conservative, in my opinion.
