I don't think my stomach could handle all the media hype if Favre makes it to the Superbowl.

Somewhere, hidden deep in the dark recesses of his bedroom, John Madden is sporting a no-reason boner just thinking about that very thing.

No worries though, because the Jets will dismantle the Minnesota offense en route to the title.

Ain't happening. It'll be Favre against his, albeit briefly, old team.

Jets will dismantle Favre because they had a year to really digest what he's all about, how he plays and what he does.

Johnson knew what the eff he was doing when he allowed the signing to happen, it was all in preparation for this year.

Jets/Vikes super bowl

Jets 23
Vikes 17

OT

You're high :letsgoblues:

The moment I saw the Colts beat the Ravens, I called them the team to win the super bowl. Nobody can beat these guys. Nobody. (And no, I am not counting the 2 losses when the Colts JV team was out there) It's obvious they haven't missed a beat, Peyton is the best quarterback of the decade if not one of the best all time. It's just not happening. The Cinderella story will end.

Vikes and Saints are tougher but I basically put the Saints in the same kind of status right now as the Colts- they obviously didn't let the last few losses get to them and they just demolished a team that should have been in the thick of the fight. Both of these teams are on fire right now so I'm more hesitant.

I won't be "shocked" per say if the Vikings win, but if the Jets win I will be absolutely blown away.

This!

As a Bears fan, I hate the Colts for beating us in the Superbowl and I love Ryan (both he and his father), but I actually think this one may be a blow out. I think the Colts are going to take it to them early and often.

Oh, and Favre's come-back comes to an end.

Colts in an landslide.

The Vikings will win in New Orleans. I see that being a closer game, but the Vikings D-Line WILL put pressure on Brees. I'm not convinced that there's a player in the league that can consistently block Jared Allen.

OK glen, 0-1 so far.. I think the Vikes should have it, but I'll wait till their first offensive drive is over ;)

hey now, the Jets hung, and you all know it.

Bad 2nd half, but Sanchize had a very good game, and it'll be the foundation on which he builds his team into a perennial contender.

Watch out for the Jets next season.

Minnesota gave that game away. They would have won that game easily if they wouldn't have had 37 turnovers.

37?

I guess you didn't watch the second half.

As a Bears fan, can't think of a better way for Favre to go out.....at least for now.

Ha! Are you so sure that #4 won't retire from the Vikings and play for the Bears next year? Really, REALLY sure?

Thought so.

Favre's got a lot of teams left on his retirement tour.

Next season? Cleveland, baby!

I am oh-so-glad that Favre or the Jets didn't make the Super Bowl. The more interesting matchup will be playing in Miami in two weeks.

Not that Favre isn't deserving, but ESPN just sucks his c*ck like it's their job. They do the same with Peyton but IMO he's more deserving of it. I would take Peyton over Favre any day of the week and thrice on Sunday.

It borders on the sickening how impossible it is to try and stop Peyton Manning.

And there are people actually getting made about people starting to ask if he’s the greatest of all time.

When he finishes his career, no one will even be able to even try to argue that point.

He’ll have every record in the books, sans one, INTs and Favre can keep that one.
