I like Castle on Monday night at 9. Of course I DVR it so I can watch MNF.

considering shows not listed:

Spartacus: Cheezy CGI turned me off, but there is a GREAT storyline as you get through the show. Sadly, the actor playing Spartacus passed away.

Entourage: Not up to date, but I like the show. Lots of hot girls and good dialogue.

And a very underrated, but AWESOME show in 1996, Beast Wars! Watch this for ten minutes.

Totally agree. Some of the relationships really work and others (like the Lori/Shane one) seem forced even though they established the relationship early on last season. For some reason it just seems annoying rather than real. It also seems to completely derail any episode it's featured in.

Exactly. I like the dynamic of it (I mean, who wouldn't blame Lori for moving on thinking her husband wasn't coming back?), but they're just dragging it out and going nowhere. If everything comes to a climax, then maybe it will be interesting, but a lot of times, with plot lines like these, you are so tired of them when they finally do reach that apex.

Apparently NBC has pulled Community from it's midseason lineup. I hate you, NBC.

Update - I bailed on The Walking Dead after the 2nd episode this season. If you're hanging in there hopefully it's gotten better.

I've been watching but it's been frustrating. My wife and I go to our friend's house to watch every Sunday. But we're all disappointed. It's had some high points....and some low points too. I'm hoping things turn around.

Yeah, I haven't watched the episode from last Sunday yet, but it's been really - really slow to start this season. Enough with all this charecter building and sexual tension......I want to see zombies heads bashed in with baseball bats and other blunt objects.

You know what this show is missing?.....Casey Jones

Well, my frustrations with The Walking Dead were (mostly) wiped away with the mid-season finale. I still wasn't satisfied with the first half of the season as a whole, but without giving any spoilers away, I thought the last episode, particularly the last 20-30 minutes really jolted the series back into line for me. And the last 10 minutes was just spectacular. They pulled me back in (finally)...and now I have to wait until February to watch again.

I watched it in the middle of season 1 and didn't like it but once the DVD was out I watched the whole thing and was hooked. It's such a fun and creative show but I can see why it hasn't found a mass audience. It's one of those shows that I think sticks to a certain group but no matter how hard they try to make it more appealing, it's only going to stay with a limited following. Which is okay, I suppose. If we get 3 seasons, I'll be okay.

But I'm still angry at NBC for cancelling "Freaks and Geeks" and that was 11 years ago.

My wife got me both seasons of "Party Down" on DVD for my birthday. Awesome birthday present. Great cast, hilarious show, canceled WAY too soon (as most great shows seem to be).

I just finished season 1 of Justified and thought it was pretty good. Been watching Hell on Wheels too; not a bad show.

I've heard good things about Sons of Anarchy so I will probably be adding that one to my list.

Holy shit Breaking Bad is a great show! One of the best I've ever seen.

We finished season 3 and are waiting for season 4 to come out on DVD now.
With a lot of shows, season one is great and it tails off from there. Breaking Bad started off great and just seems to get better and better.

We're also watching Six Feet Under...we just started season 2. It's pretty good...so far, not as good as Breaking Bad or some other series I've watched. But it's good.

I thought the last season of Dexter fell flat. It just wasn't very good. There were some good episodes, but overall it wasn't great. Disappointed with it really. And what the hell was with the season finale??
SPOILER ALERT!!!! --> Since when does homicide wait to enter a crime scene until Dexter arrives and checks it out first? I thought....uh, oh...they know and they are setting him up to walk in and see it! But nope...they hadn't gone in and Dexter destroys his face on the mural before they come in. Lame. And since when did Dexter not plastic off his kill room? Uh, why? For someone who is so anal about his kill room being splatter proof, he does nothing for prep? I assume it will then look like Dexter didn't premeditate the kill and Deb will cover it up since it will look like Dexter reacting to his son being kidnapped.
Kind of lame.

Two of my favorite shows ever. I agree about Breaking Bad...it's been great since day one. Only 16 more new episodes left.

I watched Six Feet Under during it's initial run. I loved it at the time. Now that I've seen some other shows like BB, The Wire, etc. SFU doesn't hold up as well, but I still bought the DVD set and really enjoy it. I won't give anything away, but it has one of the most satisfying series finales ever.

Any of the Walking Dead people in here stick out season 2? If so, what are your thoughts?

They really needed those last two/three episodes to pull out the season, But they really did (bring it back around)

I thought the 'new' Rick really was a nice touch.

I'm not saying it was a great end to the season, but it was a HUGE improvement over the majority of the season.

They are really going to need a strong season next, but there is plenty of story line to work with to get there.

Yep, I agree. I hope it's not a show that just piddles around for 10 episodes and then hits you with twist after twist in the final 2-3 episodes. But Robert Kirkman was on Talking Dead after the finale and said that they were going to keep the intensity of the episodes up through season 3. I hope that's the case. You could really tell where the switch in show runners took place. The show was a bit more focused and consistent once Glen Mazzara took over for Frank Darabont.

My friend just gave me my "Freaks and Geeks' DVDs back. The wife and I have plowed through the first 3 episodes already. I friggin' love that show. I can watch it on repeat. Never gets old for me.
