Don't know if anyone's mentioned this show, but I've been watching Party Down on Netflix lately. Hilarious and a great cast. I'm watching season 1 and season 2 is now airing on Starz. I'd definitely recommend.

Great show. I thought the ending was extremely bittersweet, but well done. In my opinion, everyone died in their own way. Once everyone had passed, which may have taken thousands of years, everyone experienced their awakening and moved on.

I agree. I think some are disappointed because they thought every mystery the series had posed along the way was going to be answered, when in reality, that wasn't possible. Much like "Six Feet Under" I felt like "Lost" came full circle and everything that needed to be tied up was and the show has an ending that for the most part feels complete.

That finale was both beautiful and satisfying. The show was always character driven and was never really about the mysteries. They were plot devices to further the character development. In the end it all wrapped up in very complete way. I loved it.

Re-watching Flight of the Concords

ESPN 30 for 30 series has been a really good documentary series, especially the one about the USFL.

It was an appropriate way to end the series. I enjoyed it quite a bit.

Just completed "The Wire."

I'm floored. What an absolute astounding piece of television. Holy wow.

I slowed down watching it a bit. Got sidetracked. But I did finish up season 2 last night and watch the first 2 of season 3. I heard from a friend that the first 2 seasons were good but he lost interest in the 3rd season. We will see though.

Season 3 was probably my least favorite. Just my two bits...stick through until Season 4. It is by far my favorite season. I'm not going to give anything away, but there is a laundry list of reasons why season 4 is so awesome. Obviously I'd recommend watching the whole thing, because the Wire as a whole is just one complete, amazing body of work. But if you are going to quit watching the show, at least try to finish season 3 and then on to season 4.

Bump.

I have started and stopped on Season 1 of The Wire several times. I finally broke down and got the complete series. I am almost done with season 3 right now and I am hoping to get well into season 4 this weekend (Between watching the Blues, Mizzou, and packing to move back to St. Louis).

HANDS DOWN! the greatest show I have ever seen. It's the only show I have watched that I can't wait to get to the end so that I can start all over again.

Mac in real life. On the show? My guess is the dude from the first few eps of this season, the big guy that she used to date.

I know Dee and Mac are married in real life, but you think Bill Ponderosa? I think that's to easy as it's to recent. I'm thinking Ben the soldier from last season or possibly a McPoyle.

Anyone watching "The Walking Dead" that started a few weeks ago on AMC? Great show, especially if you enjoy zombie related entertainment (which I do). The 90 minute pilot was fantastic--basically had movie-level production. The 2nd episode leveled off a bit, but I think it's setting up for where the remaining episodes are going to go. It just go renewed for a 2nd season, so it's not going away any time soon.

A lot of you mentioned it originally, but I've plunged feet first into Modern Family season 2. Because so many of you suggested it, I caught a handful of episodes at the end of the 1st season and continued through from the get go on season 2.

Another show that I absolutely love? Community on NBC. Hilarious, bizarre, original...this show's not getting good ratings but it's great. Awesome characters, can send up any time of movies or show and do it with their own style of flair. This show is destined to be a cult classic if cancelled early.

I started Rescue Me over the summer. The first few seasons were solid, but by season 3 and 4...the show just wore out it's welcome for me. The plot lines just became repetitive and really dull. There wasn't any weight to them. I may try to finish it out, but for a show that had a lot of promise and dealt with some important issues early, it ran out of steam.

Also, just started Parks and Recreation. Pretty good but I'm only 3 episodes in.
