It was a room full of 5,000 tech nerds running 500+ individual unique wifi basestations. There are what, 11 different bands on wifi? Nothing on the planet would have been working right in those conditions.

If that was the case, they should have expected that and...oh...I dunno, not use WIFI for the demonstration. Or set up a separate secure WIFI connection just for Steve Jobs to use.

Meh...I just thought it was funny...especially the part when Jobs asks one of his guys if he has any suggestions, and someone from the crowd shouts out, "Verizon!!" :lol:

He did have his own connection. There were 500 actual wifi basestations in the room. Not connected devices. Basestations. That's a lot of data flying around.

And yes, the Verizon shout out was hilarious...
