So I'm at my adult league game in our pro shop at the ice arena. The owner had a signed picture of Doug Weight with the Stanley Cup when he was with the Hurricanes. I thought it was really cool, it was personalized and everything. I asked the owner guy how he got a personalized signed picture of Doug Weight. Guy said that a buddy of his is one of those guys that moves high-profile athletes. One of those that helps out with the logistics when the pros change cities or addresses or whatever the case may be so he interacts with a lot of pros all the time. He said that this guy had apparently been helping Doug Weight with something and that he was in the pro shop and the whole bit and got him to sign some stuff. First I was pissed I didn't know about this and second just thought it was really cool. My other buddy is also in the pro shop and he apparently knows of the guy too and says "yea I guess next week he's working with Keith Tkachuk on something." So I get all jacked and excited cause I got a Tkachuk Blues jersey and getting it signed would just be awesome. So I'm all stoked about it and give my buddy my Walt jersey and he says he would see what he could do and would let me know. I get a call late tonight "hey man I'm sorry, I was wrong he's working with Eric Brewer. You want him to sign the bluenote or something?"

Great story. You should send Brewer a back brace to sign.

What we learned is that Brewer isn't coming back.

Yea once I put two and two together it made perfect sense that it was Brewer and not Tkachuk. I mean why would Walt be moving? Quite funny.
