Game 1: Tuesday @ 7:05 on FSMW
Game 2: Wed @ 7:05 on FSMW
Game 3: Thurs @ 7:05 on FSMW

Playing in that craphole of a stadium. Anyone heard if Berkman is back? Would love it if he hit a couple of pop flies into those stupid Crawford boxes.

He said he expects to be back, but also noted that the shot he took in the hand was the most painful thing he's ever experienced and said he will not do it again.

Well, dookie. Either way, you could bunt a ball over the left field fence in Houston, so he's got that going for him.

What are the Crawford boxes? Is that the porch out in LF? That's the one thing about the stadium I love. Everything else is dumb as hell though. The hill, the flagpole, seriously WTF. But, I like that porch.

I could see Albert having a ridiculous series like 5HR ridiculous. He's finally on fire, unlikely to cool down, and he always seems to do well in Houston.

Yeah the Crawford boxes are the short porch in left field. I'm not saying you can't like them, but do you mind me asking why?

I guess I started hating them when the Mid-00's Astros/Cardinals had those great LCS games and there were some stupidly short homers hit there. Couldn't stand it. That's what made Albert's gigantic shot off of Lidge in Game 5 of the '05 NLCS so awesome. It was a moon shot. Houston's field is one of the dumbest I've seen. Like you said, the hill, the flagpole, etc.

I've always thought of it in the same context as the Green Monster in Boston. I mean, I know that's not a great comparison because the Green Monster provides difficulty in addition to being short. The flagpole/hill/chain link fence seem like injuries waiting to happen with no upside. The porch adds character to the stadium IMO. It also helps that Dunc molds ground-ball pitchers, so, in theory, we shouldn't be as affected by it as others.
