All games are at 7:15 and on FSMW.

Considering the pitching match-up, I think we should consider it a success if we win one of these games.

Yeah, I'm nervous about this series. It's timing is absolutely terrible too. I know we've won 2 in a row to snap that losing skid, and I know we "swept" a 2-game series against the Phils in May. But, this has bad news written all over it. Time for somebody to step up.

Yep, big series. I agree, if we take one it will considered a success. I haven't seen the pitching matchups but the Phillies have the best rotation in the league and on paper their guy beats our guy every time (unless it's Joe Blanton-Chris Carpenter).

So, as it turns out, the Cards don't have the league's top bullpen.

Just before the inning, after a friends points out that we have the lead I say.."Yeah, but we have to get from here to Salas"

If we're having a confessional, I thought to myself, "We might have an easy inning. Miller retired a batter AND threw a first pitch strike to the 2nd batter."
