FBS, FCS, Division III, whatever you wanna talk about goes here.

Thank god the playoff is here! Now, over/under how long people started yearning for an 8 or 16 team playoff?

I'm pumped. No idea how Mizzou will do. 7 or 8 regular season wins would be a success I guess. Lost everybody, but at least we have Mauk.

I, too, don't get the allure of college football. I mean I guess you have school pride and stuff and for me personally I never met anyone who went to UMich who I liked so I have a personal dislike for everything from that school, but really it is minor league. I guess because I didn't go to a football powerhouse, my alma mater just recently finally had a guy make it onto an NFL roster (Miguel Maysonet) and I never went to a game while I was attending, though I did consider it. There's better ways for me to spend a Saturday than watching a bunch of privileged kids who got to college on the backs of their athletic rather than academic abilities, usually with a full ride. Especially if I'm watching kids from a school I never even went to.

Yeah, it's completely inexcusable. The day it happened, I was just kinda annoyed. I figured we didn't have national title hopes anyway, so at least it wasn't a conference loss. But, it's set in that we lost to Indiana at home. That shouldn't happen.

Mizzou is so ugh.

Lost at home to Indiana.
Beat SC on the road.
Then today happened. Calling it a loss doesn't even begin to describe it. Oh well.

EKU shit away the game like a monkey (Franking) a football last night :(

29 points allowed in the fourth quarter :(

LTFC won, EKU lost, Blues won, no more baseball... guess it wasn't the worst of days

Mizzou won. UGA lost. So, Mizzou is atop the SEC East again which could present an interesting scenario.

Let's say Mizzou wins the division, and then somehow wins the SEC championship game (you may say I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one). Does Mizzou get into the 4-team playoff? I mean, we're clearly not one of the top 4 teams in the country. But, it's hard to fathom the SEC champion not being in the 4-team playoff. It's also hard to see an SEC non-champion make it over the SEC champion. And, it's hard to see nobody from the SEC there.

I mean, there's a solid chance that we won't even make the SEC championship game, much less win it. But, if that happens, it would be interesting to see how it unfolds.

Mizzou is a funny team this year. 8-2 which is solid, but the schedule has been fairly easy and the 2 losses were really really bad. Losing to UGA isn't bad except that it was 34-0.

1 more win and Mizzou will have a 2nd consecutive 10 win season. That would be nice.

I love condescending, cocky Penn St. fans getting their due. (I responded to him with a "So, so cute.")
