Who knows. It's crazy how fast grizzlies can actually be though, which is why they're so dangerous; people see them lumbering around and don't realize they can be on you pretty quickly if they want to. They can run upwards of 35 mph, which is faster than most wolves. A wolf wins in agility and endurance though, so if it made it 100 or so yards it probably did live.
