Here's a couple more videos I would like to see again if any YouTube wizards can dig them up:

1. Winning goal from 2001 WCF, Game 3 against Colorado that I mentioned above. Think Scott Young was the scorer.
2. A MacInnis dipsy-doodle goal, possibly from the season before he retired, may have been against Nashville. Almost like the shootout specialist from the Stars, came in on a semi-breakaway then tucked the goal in far side.
3. Salvador or Khavanov going nuts when they scored a goal against the Sharks I think, don't believe it was playoffs. Whichever one it was threw their gloves off and just about jumped into Chopper's arms.

Ken Wilson's call of the MacInnis goal against CalGARY is one of his best calls ever. I remember sitting in my dorm in Boston listening to the call after the game and just saying "wow."

All the Ken Wilson haters should play that call over and over again. Just amazing and it makes the current announcers look like amateurs. Thanks for posting that call. I haven't heard it in years. I miss those exciting calls.

I hope someone can find the Blues telecast version of the Turgeon goal. It shows Turgeon jumping up and down, and Quenneville, the assistant coaches, equipment guys, and Ray Barile in a group hug. GREAT MOMENT.

I also enjoyed the back to back OT winners by Demitra and Courtnall in games 3 and 4 against Stars in the series that followed.

I remember Harry York scoring an OT goal and throwing off both his gloves but that goes back many years!

#3 above may be when Salvador scored game winner off the illegal faceoff to win game 5 vs sharks in OT. Traci Vette predicted it.

#1 was outstanding. One of the most exhausting moments of my life. I jumped up and down and ran around and screamed for a half hour. I have that game on tape, and I can see myself jumping up and down about a minute after the goal.

My favorite moment in Blues history is the double overtime game winning goal by Yzerman.

I've been to plenty of playoff games where we've won and the place was rockin', but the regular season game that I went to that stands out was Halloween 1999 against the Wings. Demitra scored on a breakaway in OT... that was a damn good game.

1997 playoffs vs. Detroit. Game 5 or 6, maybe OT? I was at Willy's in Columbia on the porch watching the big screen. Filled with Blues fans waiting for a miracle. Al MacInnis takes a slapper from the blue line to win the game. The roar of the bar at the moment was enough to stop traffic on Broadway.

The antics of Steve I, several tiny mices, and Forecheck's votka at the first BNF event.

Wasn't #3 Khavanov's empty-netter?

How about when the Blues came back from down 3 games to 1 to beat the Wings in the early 90's?
Probert acting like an idiot and punching Riendeau, Yzerman bitching and whining...good times.

Don't forget Rick Zombo boarding Hullie after he scored yet another goal.....

The 93 division semi's game 4 was a black spot on the NHL's officiating. The Blues were going to take the series anyway, being up 3 games to 0, but did it have to end like that?! I don't see how anyone with any knowledge of the NHL rules can honestly say that Belfour wasn't interfered with on that play. Regardless of what you'd like the rule to be, a goaltender out of his crease is NOT fair game. Janney's goal should have been disallowed, and if anyone has footage of that, I'd love to see it again.

Bitterness aside, Joseph played the series of his life.

Here we go...

I was at this game and I have it on tape...I'll try and put this portion of the game up on youtube soon.

The way I remember it, Belfour and Hull went behind the net...Belfour took a shot at Hull behind the net (pushed him, shoved him, whatever) and that slowed Belfour down as he tried to get back in front.

Hull didn't check him...he didn't think he was "fair game"...it was incidental contact if I remember correctly. And if the referee thought Hull made an effort to get out of the way, it doesn't matter if Hull makes contact.
If anything, you could say Belfour went after Hull by giving him a shot as they crossed behind the net.

That's how I remember it. I'll break out the tape and we can see for sure.

And what you don't see on the tape, is how Belfour threw his stick at Rob Shick after breaking it over the crossbar. How he didn't get fined or suspended for that, I'll never know.

I agree with what you're saying about the suspension for throwing the stick, and it's possible that my memory doesn't serve me correctly in regards to Hull, but I thought he initiated contact. I'd definitely love to see that clip if you can get it on YT, though! You could make lots of money from Blues fans for putting that game footage on DVD, you know....I'd even buy a copy. It was a dark day, and a terrible series, but it's still fun to look back at some of the players on those two teams.

I could be wrong about how it actually happened, but I don't remember Hull "going after" Belfour or initiating contact...but we'll see.

I'd love to sell the game on dvd...but that would be quite illegal. :D

Yeah, but it wouldn't be illegal to GIVE it away....at an inflated shipping cost.

That's an easy one. Overtime. Game 7. 1996 Stanley Cup Playoffs vs. Detroit.

Heh, just kidding everyone. Please don't flame me.

I gotta go with a game I saw in the spring of 1991. I was living in Boston at the time, and I sat down one night and watched the Blues hand the Bruins a 14-2 drubbing. It was a total goal scoring clinic, and quite possibly the biggest ass kicking I've ever seen in any sporting event. I'd have an easier time telling you which of the Blues DIDN'T score that night!

Is that why I'm still not a Booster?
Fixed.
A great injustice has been corrected. All is now right in the universe.

And since you are now a booster, apparently, you have just gained some sort of special privileges...or immunity of some sort...or at least that is what I hear goes on. I have yet to figure out what those special privileges are or see evidence of said privileges.

But if you discover you are now suddenly bulletproof or can walk on water...let me know.
