I never understood why people (outside of graphic artists) would choose a MAC. You are limiting what is available to you.

Kind of like buying a car that runs on diesel, not every gas station has diesel.

I have a PC too. It was just a question, thanks.

I don't understand why people buy a PC with a memory hog operating system that constantly needs patches in order to work properly.

Well, my mac at work is constantly downloading updates. Just sayin'.

I'm a graphics guy, and I agree with _Gassoff.

I'd love a Mac as a secondary computer...but not as my main machine.

I always wanted a Mac as a second computer too, until I bought an iPod.

Not interested anymore.

Dammit. I can't get it to work. Trying to watch the Buffalo-game.

I'm at the myp2p-site and press the "Play"-link, have the SopCast player. But the link won't work! SopCast doesn't react at all when I press the link. It only plays the channels in the program, you know, if you double click on a channel inside SopCast.

Tried it both in Explorer and Firefox... what am I missing? Is it necessary to register or should it work fine while being anonymous?

anonymous should work fine.

I'm watching Kings/Canucks. Jim Hughson is an incredible hockey announcer.

I think he speaks very well and knows his stuff...but he's pretty dry, imo.

Got Sopcast (and TVUplayer, that matter) and XBMC to talk to each other last night and caught the third period of the Avs/Wild game on the Minnesota feed from the comfort of the living room. A little blurry, a little pixelated, and a little washed out, but I'll take that over my atrocious KPLR reception.

Yea, I guess speaking well and knowing his stuff are what matters to me. I know when to get excited, when to be nervous, and when to be p.o.'ed.

I enjoy listening to Jim Hughson but absolutely cannot stand John Garrett(sp?) as his color guy.

Have to make this crap work tonight. I'll be up all night for it.

The channels don't start playing when I click the "play now" link on the website. (Frank) annoying as hell... :(

Are you using Internet Explorer?

If so, try using Firefox.

I use IE, and it works just fine. BTW, I didn't realize that using firefox turned you into a pretentious dickbag.

Every time I tried to log in with an anonymous login name the whole thing would shut down on me with some sort of error signal. So I registered and it doesnt seem to be doing it. I hope this works - it says the channel is offline right now.

there's only fifteen minutes until the game, you think they would have started the channel to watch pregame or something by now.
