The rumor out of Toronto is that he wants to replace Paul Maurice.Hullie wrote:I think we can all agree on one thing:

Babcock's tenure as Red Wings coach:
157-57-25
He has never had the star filled roster like Bowman (all due respect) and even Dave Lewis. He is getting things done with guys like Lilja as a top 4 D-man. He has Developed Zetterberg and Datsyuk into all around dominant players. Their defensive play has become Selke-calibur. More home grown talent like Filppulla and Hudler making big contributions. Brett Lebda is a player. Even Dan freakin Cleary is a player now!
At 44 yrs old Babcock is younger than Chelios. He recently stated that he would like to coach here at least another 10 years. The man is badass.
And just last week Scotty Bowman was on his way to town. Those leaf fans, damn they are a riot.ksbluesfan wrote:The rumor out of Toronto is that he wants to replace Paul Maurice.Hullie wrote:I think we can all agree on one thing:

What's great is last night they got played, and they got played hard. Probably the most physical game of the season so far, yet they still came out with the W. This team is just incredible.Hullie wrote:I think we can all agree on one thing:

Scotty Bowman wants to be GM, but the Maple Leafs aren't interested just yet. They're going to talk to Brian Burke and Ken Holland first.Steve Levy Sucks wrote:And just last week Scotty Bowman was on his way to town. I wish I could be a Maple Leafs fan.Steve Levy Sucks wrote:I've also heard that they are bringing Gretzky and Mario out of retirement to play on the 1st & 2nd line. I mean, everyone wants to coach, play or GM for Toronto - don't they?
I also heard that on or about the trade deadline they will be changing their name to Maple Leaves.ksbluesfan wrote:I wish I could be a Maple Leafs fan.Steve Levy Sucks wrote:I've also heard that they are bringing Gretzky and Mario out of retirement to play on the 1st & 2nd line. Legace was positively sieve-like in the All-Star Game. Here's to hoping that carries over to the second half of the NHL schedule.Blues Fan in SF wrote:Time to resurrect this thread.

Pfft. Newb. Legace was sieve-like for several games PRIOR to the All-Star Game too.NSWingsfan wrote:Legace was positively sieve-like in the All-Star Game. Here's to hoping that carries over to the second half of the NHL schedule.Blues Fan in SF wrote:Time to resurrect this thread.

Osgood couldn't stop anything.
8 goals against in 6 minutes in the young stars game? That's comedy gold.
I know you were...but I was talking about BOTH games.NSWingsfan wrote:I was talking about the ASG. Please read.cprice12 wrote:Wah? I beg to differ. Allowing 5 goals is always worse than allowing 3 goals.and 3 goals on 9 shots is not that great. Its actually no different than 5 goals on 16 shots.
You should know, lord knows you've seen the opposition score that many against your team a lot this season.cprice12 wrote:I know you were...but I was talking about BOTH games.NSWingsfan wrote:I was talking about the ASG. That's nothing compared to the amount of dudes scoring on your wife this season. Jeez man, many more "scores" and her vageen is lible to fall off. Perhaps she's been reading your emails???Steve Levy Sucks wrote:
