Re: anti-bitching, part 3 (?)
So I was watching the Best Damn Inspirational Moments thing on FSN this morning, and they actually had a hockey moment as--get ready for it--#1 (Miracle on Ice). I thought for a minute that I must be having a stroke.

I bought some severely cute shoes this morning. That makes me happy.

Re: anti-bitching, part 3 (?)
My plumbing and framing inspections were passed today (goodbye 5 gallon bucket!!)
But more importantly, the electrical inspection was also passed. This one was more enjoyable for me since I wired the whole damn house.
Yay me!

In all seriousness, congratulations. When we built the man-cave, I also did the wiring myself, and was one of the most satisfying things I've done.Prngr44 wrote:My plumbing and framing inspections were passed today (goodbye 5 gallon bucket!!)

Re: anti-bitching, part 3 (?)
I franking nailed my presentation tonight; the prof actually said he really enjoyed the cleverness of part of it (which was a part I sorta BS'd my way through on the fly). So that's 40% of my grade for this class, done and out of the way. God, do I feel sorry for the poor schlubs who still have to do theirs as the rest of the term goes along.
Now I think I'm going to go sleep for about 6 days.

I picked up my cap and gown today. For the first time in a loooooooong time, there really does appear to be a light at the end of the tunnel.

Congrats.... I hope your graduation ceremony is better than mine was at UMSL. I wish I wouldn't have walked it was so bad an inappropriate (politics, begging for money, etc.).Blueline29 wrote:I picked up my cap and gown today. Re: anti-bitching, part 3 (?)
Thanks OS and BF! I'm actually starting to get a little excited about it, and when that flags, I've got the tassel hanging where I can see it from my desk. That keeps me from setting fire to my books, which I want to do on an hourly basis.
As for the ceremony, they had somebody big-ish in politics last year, but I don't remember who it was. I don't know if they've said who's on the slate for this year yet.

Kickass... locked in at 5.5% on 30 year fixed with a 60 day lock period; free float down.
I'm pretty pumped.
It was nice to be able to tell my current construction loan holder they could stick it. They were fairly pushy on having me start the application process with them and balked when I told them I was shopping around. "You won't find a better deal than you can get here." Guess what, buddy? I did!!
Our "business relationship" has cooled off considerably.

Don't you just love DRAMA!?
Anywho, I'm not touching this one...at all.

The only time I like drama is when I'm selling it.

I'd buy it if it included a placenta on the floor.

That only comes with the deluxe version, but I've heard it's inspiring enough to cause 15,000 people to spontaneously burst into song about it.Jack T Adams wrote:
