Stupid question on tickets.
What is entailed in standing room only tickets? I was a dumba$S and settled for these on the 21 against the Cubs. Basically, you can watch from the entry ways? Sorry for a dumb question.

Basically, you have to stand behind a yellow line jammed with people with terrible site lines. I went to Opening Day 2007 and realized that SRO sucks. I just walked around standing at different spots trying to get the best spots to see the game, but I had more time for beer.

Yea, bringing your 2 kids to the game w/o seats may be hell. I can understand as I have a 6 year old and a 4 year old.Twister18 wrote:Thanx mark. I may have to tip several as the 2 kids will be hell without seats.

If anyone would be interested in these tickets, I will sell them at a very good price. PM me.

Standing room only tickets aren't bad. But probably not when you are taking kids to the game. That would suck.
I had standing room only tickets for the 3rd game at new Busch, and it was great. We were down on the lower level, leaning against a wall and watching the game. Our sight lines were fine and we were close to the field. We also wanted to check out the stadium since it was new at the time, so we walked around and stood in different SRO areas for a couple innings each...it was cool.
We also had standing room tix right behind home plate for a Cards - Cubs game a couple years ago. If they still allow standing room right behind home plate, those are excellent if you can get there early for a good spot.
I've found that women don't particularly like SRO...at all.
But yeah, I'd rather have seats. But there are some very good SRO spots at Busch.
