The overall winner of the 2008-2009 LGB Playoff Challenge is....
cprice12---32 pts.
Since I run the contest and technically probably shouldn't be eligible, the 2nd place finisher wins the t-shirt from the LGB Store (which is currently being renovated).
So... The 2nd place finisher, and winner of the T-Shirt is... Sec310K67---27 pts.
I'll be sending the winners their championship signature badges soon.
It was pretty cool that we had three guys correctly predict the exact number of goals scored in the finals, which was 31.

Congratulations guys!
We had a lot of participants this year, which made it pretty interesting.
Next year we'll change it up a little bit in the way everyone submits their picks so there is a lot less work for me to do on the spreadsheet.
I'll be finishing up the renovations in the LGB Store in the coming days, so keep an eye out for that.
WOW...I had no idea that I did so well with my picks. I completely forgot to put mine in before the deadline. Oh well, I still won at the sportsbook...The penguins to win in 7 after the loss in game one the odds were 7-1 so i bet a hundred on them to win in 7 and sure enough it happened. This is pretty sweet....Curt if you could let me know the process of getting the shirt and such whenever that time comes that is great.
and.....
Technically since you cant participate , Do i get a custom sig declaring me the "technicality" winner of the contest?...lol

I'll let you know when the new store is done, and we'll go from there.
And you can have a sig declaring your victory...but I may make one for myself as well.
What were the odds of Pittsburgh winning in 7 after game 2?

Thanks, I appreciate it!!
Well I was in Vegas the weekend it started and bet Sunday when i left. I was told by the agent at the sportsbook that the odds tripled to 21-1 after they lost game 2. I was pissed!
But I still made out pretty well on the deal. $700 extra bucks is something i definitly put to good use in this economy.
Sec310K67: Winnar* of the 2009 LGB Playoff Challenge!
I don't know that Sec310K67 was on steroids at the time though.

I think the Green team from 2008 should clear our old title banners. Time to pass the torch.

Do past division/conference/finals winners drop their banners after each season too?
The Red Wings should
