No shit. Bad day to be a fan of an eastern Canadian team, and it'll be worse when Toronto signs the Sedin Sisters to a ridiculous deal tomorrow.

Eklund's saying Dany turned down a deal to Edmonton a couple days ago, should be interesting.

Good, I hope he did turn it down, I hate Edmonton and that would have been a really good deal for them. (Frank) Edmonton. The Sens have to be able to get something better than that no? I would have at least wanted Souray.

When did this Heatley problem start? Did he just request a trade out of the blue or did something trigger it? I understand the atlanta deal, but not ottawa.

Issues with the new coach, playing time.
I haven't followed all the details closely, but I don't think it was Heatley that made his "trade demand" public -- it was the team.

I just don't see many other trading partners.
That's not a total steal for Edmonton had that gone through- The Sens would be getting three very good, young players that could step in right away- that's not bad at all. Granted a first rounder would have topped it off but still.

Suck it up, Shirley. This is the second team you've held hostage.SIU LAW wrote:Issues with the new coach, playing time.

At least he hasn't killed any teammates with this go around with the Sens.
