Re: NFL: Week 1
We should have a pick 'em for the season, but me thinks that it's a bit late to get that started unless we start in week 2.
Biggest upset: Buffalo over New England
Safest bet: New Orleans over Detroit

Re: NFL: Week 1
atdhe should cover football games. I'm sure the NFL won't be as dickholeish as the NHL was about it last season.

I was laughing my ass off when I turned it on in the 3rd quarter. Relocate this team back to LA.dmiles2186 wrote:Gawdammit...I get excited every year about the Rams and then they go out and get blasted 28-0 (as of late 4th qtr).

Re: NFL: Week 1
I lived in LA during the 90's and a significant number of football fans wanted both the Raiders and Rams to leave. The reason was that then they could watch 4-5 games every Sunday instead of Rams/Raiders and 1 other game. LA is a much more fanatical fanbase for college football >>>>> USC vs UCLA = Superbowl!!philco_3 wrote:I was laughing my ass off when I turned it on in the 3rd quarter. Re: NFL: Week 1
Just because a team is bad doesn't mean it needs to be relocated. Remember when a lot of folks were saying that about the Blues, oh, two years ago?philco_3 wrote:I was laughing my ass off when I turned it on in the 3rd quarter. Rams are going to be on the up and up again someday. Just don't know when that day is going to be.
