Bask in the Glory of Blackhawk Destruction (On Versus Now!)

Post by ZigZagBluesFan »

Flames 5 - Hawks 0 with 8 minutes left in the 1st.

Hawks goalies can't stop anything. Huet was pulled after giving up 3. Niemi let in one from the blue line that my grandma could've stopped.

Highly entertaining stuff. Pretty soon Kane might try to beat up an elderly concessionaire.

Stay tuned!

The Blackhawks have definitely turned it on and have dominated the 2nd period. It's now 5-4 Calgary with 5:35 left in the 2nd period. Wow.

That second goal against Niemi was a tougher one to shot than it looked. First, it hit Seabrook's skate, and it bounced right before it got to him.

I agree, though...this is a shitty game. Pierre McGuire is probably whaggin off while watching this game.

Down 5 goals, and go on to win it in OT! Biggest comeback in team history.

Thanks for starting this thread! :okman:

You don't really believe typing on a message board has any bearing on the outcome of a game, do you ?

When a ridiculous comeback happens shortly after the post, of course the post had bearing on the outcome of the game. ;)

Whoops.

^ :moran:

I bet the Flames are glad they spent all that money to improve their defense...

Hats off to the Hawks.

Hawks needed 47 minutes to come back from 5 down. Blues did it in 13.

Wow, I just heard about 3 minutes of continuous, accurate play-by-play, from about the 10-13 minute marks of the third period. Bernie said maybe six words the entire time. Makes me long for the days of old

Oh yeah, great game too! I remember thinking about turning the TV off after Domi scored, but I kept it on. And saw a gem.

Is it more impressive to score 6 on Kipprusoff in 50 minutes or 6 on Joseph in 15 minutes?

I think scoring 6 on any goalie in 15 minutes is more impressive but that may just be me.
