According to the ref, Kariya's helmet has always been on too loose... If you know what I'm saying...

ComradeT...Kerbs and Chase were talking about some of the "bad calls" that went agains the Blues recently. Even the Head Office is noticing it, but the question now is: what the heck are they gonna do about it? (oh yeah, and WHEN!???)

I'd complain about the officiating towards the Blues (and it has been AWFUL this season), but it's horrible around the entire NHL.

I don't know. Are refs unionized? Because if not, NHL could announce ref layoffs and massively fire all of them. The new ones hired will definitely suck balls but they'll probably come cheaper so the league will save money and the refereeing can't really get that much worse than it is...

I confess to being more than a little disappointed that Payne didn't throw a chair, a bench, hell- grab a beer from the fans behind him and throw that on the ice. Don't take that crap lying down.

I wanted to see Payne do something to get him thrown out of the game in protest of that call.

Brad Boyes summarizes this team perfectly. All the pieces are there, but.. i dunno... the glue is missing? (Frank), they just can't get their shit together. THere have been some real shitty calls, but they also got a 4 min powerplay. There's no point of complaining about the officiating if you don't make anything of it when it goes your way.

WELL, since the Blues know how to lose after having a 3 goal lead (about a dozen and a half times this season) MAYBE that will rub off on the AVS...just saying!

So.. Paul Stastny was drafted 44th overall and has 185 points in a 193 games..

We drafted Oshie 24th overall and Scott Jackson 37th overall. Not that I am blaming the Blues since every team passed on him at least once, but you would think he would have gotten picked over Jackson with him being a home town boy and his dad being an alum..

How much different could this team be if we had drafted Stastny over Jackson.. Oh well..

I wonder what Patrik Stefan is up to these days

BTW: WAY bigger bust than Daigle could have ever hoped to be.

Stefan is a player agent in California.

But, at least Stefan didn't make the comment about not wanting to be drafted second overall.
