What happens when Jake Allen gets called up, goes 7-0-0 in his first several starts and then gets lit up like the cast of Half Baked? Then we'll all be saying his glove is weak, he's not tough mentally, too many rebounds, etc. It's bound to happen.

then if they don't want him, they should package him now for either A) a guy who can score or B) a guy who doesn't suck at playing defense and can help make up for the absence of Polak.

Because with the numbers he's putting up, I'll bet a lot of teams with either crappy goalies or about to retire goalies would love to have him.
