Oh Brad Boyes where are you when you need you to score in a shootout.

Depends on how you feel about tomorrows game, I guess. I think tomorrow is going to be an old fashioned beatdown, and our downward slide in the standings will commence to close out 2011.
Downward slide in the standings?

On a positive note, Sobotka looked like he didn't miss a beat. He was flying out there, stick handling well, and setting up some good chances.

C'mon...

Halak made 4 straight saves to start the shootout. Conklin rarely made ONE save in a shootout. If a friggin' Blue could put the puck in the net during a shootout, just once in the first 3, Blues win the game.

The Blues are 1-17 in shootout attempts this year, or something like that. The Blues' goalies have made saves in the shootouts, nobody has scored.

Halak is the new Brewer...no matter how well he plays, he automatically gets misguided blame.

Yes, they are 1 for 17 on shootout shot attempts. Pathetic. It's not the goalies.

Halak may have done his part in regulation, but he might as well be Ty Conklin when it comes to shootouts.

Let's keep losing points because Halak couldn't stop a Grandma in a walker after hip replacement surgery from scoring in a shootout.

In the shootout last night: Halak stopped 4 of 5.

Blues shooters went 0-5.

Proof is in the pudding.

Not to mention it was a perfect shot...no goalie is stopping that.

Halak has his issues...but he wasn't the reason we lost last night....not even close.
