Yahoo SHOULD be opening up for business around the middle of February so as soon as they do, I'll set up the league parameters and we'll go from there. I'd wanted to do a keeper league based on last years rosters but I have no idea how to set that up.

I must have missed you asking about the keeper setup. I'm not sure if it's the same on Yahoo, but I did a hockey league and when I went to set up the league the next year, I was given the option to activate the pre-existing league and to designate it a keeper league. But I have no idea if that's possible on Yahoo or if we'll have to set up a new league and designate it a keeper league that time around.

alright mofo's, I renewed last years league and established a keeper rule. Commish (me) gets to approve or reject so I set up guidelines. 1 infielder, 1 outfielder, 1 pitcher. If you try to keep any other combination or more than 3 players, I'll reject it.

Everyone should have gotten an e-mail reminder directly from Yahoo.

Saw some returning players... sorry about setting the draft for so far into the future, I wanted to give some time for everyone who wants to come back to come back and also setting it later will give us all a better of idea of who makes their respective trips back north/west/whatever.

Don't forget to pick your keepers! I have no idea what happens if you forget to, if you end up with 3 empty roster spots or if you get 3 picks at the end of the draft or whatever. Keeper league is new to me.

Thanks man, I'm in. I'll have my keepers soon. I have a question about the rules of the keepers. Jose Bautista is listed as a 3B/OF by Yahoo. Does that mean he is eligible to be my IF keeper even though he's pretty much just an OF nowadays?

it's up to you, if you pick him and an infielder he'll be your outfield keeper, if you pick him and an outfielder he'll be your infield keeper. I need to make better keeper rules next season, never did this kind of league before.

thanks Cardsfan for pointing out my error in assigning the draft time. It's been corrected so now it's PM instead of AM. I wouldn't dream of making anyone catch a draft at 8:30 AM.
