Let's start the season off right with a sweep of the Brewers.

Brewers took a hit losing Prince, but they won't be pushovers either. The most fortunate thing that happened to that team was Ryan Braun cheating the system.

Yeah, I think the Brewers are probably flying futher below most people's radars than is warranted. They lost Prince, but picked up Aramis Ramirez. By no means is that an even swap. But, it should help soften the blow to their lineup.

I'll be satisfied with 2 of 3.

It is not, though I agree with him 100%. Madoff can go rot and Wilpon can too because he's too chickenshit to sell the team, take his hit and give someone a chance to bring in some players and make them a contender. While I think the Mets will surprise many and approach .500 this season, the fact is the turmoil around the franchise at the moment makes it unlikely they'll compete for at least... oh... 10 years or so. Especially when they trade Wright and Santana in July.

I hope they don't trade Wright. My cousin grew up on Long Island and is a diehard Mets fan (although I've got him as converted to Cards fandom as is possible of somebody with an affinity for another team). His favorite two players over the past few years on the Mets were Reyes and Wright. Would be nice for one of them to stick around.
