There is an interesting lawsuit against the Philadelphia Flyers. The Flyers sold their season tickets. Since they played in the Winter Classic as the home team, fans that purchased season tickets are upset that they had to purchase Winter Classic tickets separately.
The solution would be to give St. Louis a Winter Classic. We would be so grateful, nobody would bitch like this.
Lawyers for a Philadelphia Flyers season ticket-holder have sued the team's owner over its policy for tickets to the outdoor Winter Classic. The team calls the lawsuit frivolous.
Jenkintown, Pa.-based Stern & Eisenberg filed the suit against Comcast-Spectacor in New Jersey's Mercer County Superior Court on Friday. The lawsuit says team owners breached the contract by forcing season ticket-holders to purchase tickets to the Jan. 2 Winter Classic at Citizens Bank Park separately and at a higher price.
The suit says fans who bought a 44-game season ticket package for 2011-2012 got only 43 tickets. The plaintiff says those who bought season tickets were told they would have to purchase Winter Classic tickets separately.
Attorney Evan Barenbaum calls the policy "illogical and unfair" and says thousands of ticket-holders could be affected. Comcast-Spectacor calls the suit frivolous and says it will "vigorously defend" itself.
I think they are 100% correct in their bitching. That's some bullshit.
Also, the 44 games thing is because they force season ticket holders to buy tickets to the pre-season games. It's another way they squeeze them for a little extra cash. It's also bullshit.

I also thought they pretty much gave you the preseason tickets as a thank you for paying out the ass for these tickets.
