Kind of an awkward interview. I know the language barrier is a factor, but all of his answers were very vague and it's like he was very careful not to say the wrong things. Can't wait to see the REAL Vladi on the ice...

BTW, the presser was awkward, the Q&A w/Kerbs was awkward. However, it's not really his fault. The questions they were throwing at him were pretty ridiculous, especially Kerbers. I'm surprised they didn't ask him what his favorite color is or if he like's trees. It was like they were trying to communicate with an alien...

Oh well, who cares? I just want to see him play hockey.

I finally watched the full interview. Yeah, it's a little awkward, but I'd probably be the same way if I had just learned Russian and then was thrown up in front of a bunch of strangers to answer questions. I think in time he'll come out of his shell.
