College kids get blind drunk? Really? That's a HUGE revelation. Come on, just because Schmaltz was drafted into the NHL doesn't mean he's instantly going to rise above the standard craziness of a large percentage of college kids. I remember one time at St. Patricks Day up in Boston being so hammered I don't know how the hell I made it through the night alive. The worst part of that episode was that I actually had a very good drunk memory so I not only remember every detail but also exactly how crappy I felt the next morning in every aspect except being thankful I wasn't dead which I probably should have been. I digress though, college kids drink. Next news story please.

Some posters are exemplifying the need for the aforementioned "cultural shift." Wouldn't it've been nice to see James Tower Campbell not drink his career away? It nothing new, and as long as these preprofessionals don't learn from the mistakes of others, they're going to keep putting themselves at risk of pi$$ing it all away. HITE!
