They can keep the Cup. Take their money. Use it wisely and sign real talent. Then, take their Cup.

Speaking of shitty out of conference games no one wants to go to, there is a slim but existent chance I'll be in town on Oct 12th when the boys play the Rags.

Why not?
Home opener is not on sale. It was part of that "we dont want your money if your a fan of Nashville, Chicago or Detroit."
That's actually not true.
From stlblues.com:
Single Game Tickets for the 2013-14 season are on sale now at the Ford Box Office at Scottrade Center and all participating Ticketmaster outlets, including Ticketmaster.com. (Games on 10/3, 10/9, 12/28 and 4/13 will go on sale individually at a later date. These games are currently only available in Full Season, Half Season, 12-Game Plans, 6-Game Plans or Hat Trick Plans).
The home opener isn't on sale yet as an individual ticket, but it will be later. So there you go.

And that's if you want to buy them through Ticketmaster.
You'll be able to buy tickets to just the home opener on stubhub way sooner.
