You missed the point. I don't wish injury on anyone and that includes Backes. On the contrary I would rather see him recover and play again and be healthy than risk his career or life attempting a quick comeback just cause it's playoff time. I don't know about you but I value my life more than any championship. And yes I am a Hawks fan.
I think it's pretty safe to assume that when Backes does return, he'll be healthy enough to do so.
He is a big part of the core of this team, and the franchise simply won't risk that. Same with Oshie.
If he does come back for game #4 or #5, you can safely assume he is legitimately good to go. Speculating that they are bringing him back too soon is...well...weird, considering you didn't examine Backes, nor have you seen the doctor's report or his concussion test results.
The Mayo Clinic says that mild concussions typically take approx. 6 days for the brain to fully heal. Yes, every case is different, but that is the general/average number. If Backes returns for game #5, that will have been 6 days. So there you go.
