There's really no way in the world we were beating Colorado in those first 3 games. It feels a bit like rooting for that team that always played the Harlem Globetrotters.

Haven't read the thread.. the app quit working... all the other darn games are in OT.... I'll hopefully be able to watch the game vig the NHL.TV thing tomorrow and comment when I can actually see the game. Bottom line - the Avs are just better top to bottom in their lineup. Missing Kadri is a giant "so what" given their center depth.

Meanwhile, the Blues dropped Reinke into the lineup and he was invisible - which isn't surprising since his strength couldn't be used at all if he wanted to have any semblance of effectiveness as a defenseman. Reinke's stat line for tonight, less than 10 minutes played, -1, 1 blocked shot, 2 SOG. Yes, Reinke played under 20 minutes. There are multiple reasons why vs an opponent like the Avs. The more obvious question - why play a guy short on reach, speed, and physicality - every issue size related - over playing Tyler Tucker - even if it would be his first game. Reinke is NOT and never will be an NHL caliber defenseman. Tucker actually fits the bill for a 3rd pairing tough guy defenseman - like Luke Schenn in Tampa.

I'm still stunned the Blues played Reinke over Tucker given how much emphasis this org puts on size - like keeping Sanford on the ice in spite of his inconsistency - the only reason to do this is he has "reach" on the PK which no one else, who isn't already on the PK can match.

Pierre = Ken Wilson trying to pronounce Pter Klima. It's so simple it's Peter - yet Ken Wilson never wavered from calling him Petri - like the Petri dish.... Hated Ken Wilson simply because of his I'm right, your wrong attitude about names and wouldn't even have ever called NHL games if Dan Kelly hadn't passed away too soon.
