Well it's officially baseball season, though over here in NY we have a basketball team to be excited about for a change. Maybe I'll try to get back into the NBA.

It's kind of stunning to think about isn't it? I can't think of any other website I've checked daily for anywhere close to that many years. I guess as long as Curt keeps paying the hosting fees we'll keep showing up.

Man, what a trainwreck of a series. Two years in a row bounced in the first round. Last year is the bubble excuse, this year just got demolished.

The defense is a mess. Sorely missed Petro this year. Krug's play has to improve on the defensive side and he's also gotta be more involved in the offense next year too. What a mess...

I think that is the single biggest difference. The defense needs Petro. Krug is good, he just isn't the same defenseman Petro is, and the Blues' D is the worse for it. Got to make it work going forward, though- Petro's not coming back anytime soon.

Plus, not having Perron (team points leader) and Sundqvist hurt as well. That 2019 4th line of Sunqvist, Maroon and Steen made the Blues so tough to play against. That's been missing the last two years. But you go to war with the army you have, not the army you wish you had.
