Yep those 160+ hours of college I finished and paid for with my own money was just bullshit. Since i now have an entry level job somewhere, I need to give some of my earnings to some crackhead because to that crackhead, I seem really rich and he has no pity for me if I can't have cable.

That's pretty much exactly my position.. Cept I'm paying back the debt from college and can't really afford to buy my own home on my salary until I pay a lot of that off. And I work in a socialwork agency so I come in contact with the same people you refer to (though a majority of our clients are legitimately disabled). They act like I'm the richest person on the planet and it all landed in my lap.. Don't even get me started on the sociopaths at probation/parole where I teach a class once a week.

I noticed the ground near my aeration/septic tank was kind of wet... so I look inside and it's full. Of shit. And piss. Yay.

So supposedly this unit is some new fandangled "geo-drip" system as opposed to a traditional aeration/septic which has what they call a leech field; this one is the type they call "sub surface." Essentially my leech field is buried underground in little plastic tubes and the waste is supposedly cleaned to a much higher percentage and then it basically waters my grass.

Oh... they didn't install the pumps inside. Oh, they didn't forget, the builder/contractor/whoever was supposed to inform them when I was moving in and they were going to come out and complete the installation. So basically for the past 2 months the system has lied there not treating a damn thing. Soooo, they came out today to fix it and boy did that guy get muddy.

They claim it was no big deal and that there wasn't enough waste to accumulate (pack) at the bottom of the tank so it should all get treated normally. I don't know about you, but if you had to shit in a bucket for 2 months I'd think there'd be a lot of it.

And the leak? They said the level was high enough that it was going back out the 'in' (sorry MF21) and shouldn't be a problem anymore.

I guess we'll see.

Apparently the hold up is that they are appraising the value of the plans and making sure the plans are worth what we are paying to have it built.
The wife was told by someone there that we should expect to close on that around the 21st. AARRRRRGGGHH!!
Why they couldn't have done this a month ago when we gave them the plans, is beyond me.
We're already late on getting started...and now it's going to be at least another two weeks.
They're getting a phone call on Tuesday. This crap is moving way too slow, especially since they've had all of this stuff for a month now.
