Till this day I don't understand why anyone actually gave this guy any attention. Think about this, this guy pulled some numbers from "1234567890" and made some shit up and actually got attention. I would be more inclined to believe someone who said that in a dream his cat told him there would be an earthquake than the shit he was saying.

Speaking of which you read the guy's column on stltoday that is a fictional piece from 2058 about the "precursor to the big one".. What kind of stupid alarmist crap is that. :roll:

It's pretty difficult to predict earthquakes, only to state where they could happen. When they'll happen is a total crap shoot. It's not like a snow storm or a volcano erupting.

The guy died before the date of his prediction, didn't he?

And wasn't there a pretty small quake a few weeks after he said the big one was supposed to have hit?

I don't recall if he died or not but he was the guy who predicted the SF Bay area one so people were all over him like flies on poop.
