The Blues record their 1,500th win.. they looked great all night, lots of pressure, timely goaltending, yet no one would make me a sandwich

I don;t think that's ever been a secret. The good news is one would only hope Elliot's success may serve as a kick on the azz to Halak.
Of course, as they noted on the NHL network before the game......there were actually some experts out there that thought Elliot was going to step up and become a legit NHL starter before last year, so maybe the switch has flipped for him. Either way, all I know is it's funny how much better the team as a whole looks when the goal-tending is actually making some timely saves instead of letting in softies.

Hey if you have a guy who is putting forth a killer effort it just makes you look lazy if you don't do the same. I know the sample size is small but I have thought there was a different energy on the ice when Elliot was it vs Halak. IMO.DaDitka wrote:cardsfan04 wrote: I heard somebody (forget who) on the radio yesterday say that Halak might have an attitude problem.

I'd say he's worth the $600,000 we pay him this year.

Definitely. There is almost nothing more disheartening than playing your butt off, getting chances, doing well, and then some BS little play costs you a goal. Just soul-crushing.DaDitka wrote:cardsfan04 wrote: I heard somebody (forget who) on the radio yesterday say that Halak might have an attitude problem.
