Took longer than it should've but regardless, happy to see it.

Hated the associate hire at the time, hated the "heir apparent" crap, hated Kirk Muller et al being allowed to leave to make room for him, hated him as head coach.

Of the firings we've made in my living memory, with the possible exception of Andy Murray, this makes me the happiest.

Yeo was not different enough from Hitchcock to trigger success. Outside of the initial hot streak at the end of the 2016-2017 season, he had the team playing the same way and doing the same things that got Hitch fired (and got Yeo fired from the Wild). It was a bad idea to begin with, and it's a shame it took this long.

Armstrong's qoute about the Blues core players having no equity is perfect. He also put blame on himself, which we haven't heard. Even with Berube being an interim HC, if there aren't results soon on the ice (I'm not counting the next 3 games), players who've been here are likely going to be moved. For whom? No idea. But it's clear the next move is moving players, especially when Armstrong suggests the Blues current core won't be here for the next HC.
