Re: Official Best Offseason Ever Thread
Maroon will moving on to the highest bidder, and his spot can be filled in with the current org depth chart. Good for him tho bc he will need to cash in now, probably his last opportunity. For him now will be just about earning a paycheck and being servicable in anyone's lineup.

Wow. This is incredible.glen a richter wrote:I had to dig all the way back to page 108 for this one. Why? Because it's relevant in current times. The 3rd round pick we got from Tampa Bay turned into Jordan Binnington. We can officially say we won that trade 8 years ago.

Your wife is right, whether she is or not. Be agreeable and go out for a steak dinner afterwards. You both win.

Re: You can only keep one...
Too easy. I can switch to whiskey and steak. Yeah, but my shlong won't work after I'm 60, 70 years old (or so I'm told) without drugs, and even then I don't know if I want some hearing-aid wearing grandma taking her dentures out to get a tounsil massage. So I'm going with beer. My grandpa is 90 and...

Rohan, no post about the ass whooping KU gave us today? Or the ridiculous oop we tried with two minutes left that got stuffed by the rim.. Again, I don't want this to come off like a biased KU take, but this game was more of an indication of where I think both teams really are. I didn't think it wo...

I feel really sorry for you... being in your 40's and sleeping with a chic half your age. Boy, I'd be depressed too. You should get a prescription for Xanax before you feel like you have to lob off your nuts.

I grew up with a black lab who spent the better part of her life scared of water.
If the dog goes def just reinforce good behavior to hand signals with food. It might suck at first but you can still have a handicapped dog that is otherwise pretty normal for a dog.

3. If you want to Blues it out, then just hang a vintage piece of Blues Art, or get a collage of Hockey Cards or some other sort of memorbilia. Maybe something above the mantel (besides the t.v.) If you wouldn't mind a chick's opinion on this one, I'd say definitely go for some Blues art, but stick...

Re: Needed: StL Blues Man Cave
Why would you want the TV so high? Srsly. No offense Opti, but that setup sux. 1. Move the t.v. 2. get some curtains 3. Re: Financial Advice: best way to invest 10g's
Yeah. My point is do what you gotta do to pull the trigger when you think things are bottomed. If you think they are now, then the lump sum now might be the way to go. Look at an ammoritization (sp?) schedule and see what you are pissing away on interest each month compared to a new 15 year note an...

Re: Financial Advice: best way to invest 10g's
My point on that is if you are gonna do an extra $100 bucks for a year or $1200 in one check is all the same. My house is paid for so I'm not up on the current rates. But if/when you think they have bottomed out, maybe the thing to do is pull the trigger on the lump sum, instead of chipping away an...

Re: Financial Advice: best way to invest 10g's
The Discount-Point Interest-Rate Buydowns aren't all that sexy right now. They're not taking big chunks out of the interest rate and it's taking longer to recoup your investment - although long term, they're still the way to go if they're offered. Although what you said about cutting years off your ...
