Tuesday vs Canucks tv?
All the Blues stuff (web, calendar, etc) show no tv, but the Post shows FSM in multiple locations. Anyone know if it has been added, or something?

Since it's not on TV it will surely be the only game they win all month.
Kind of like the legendary Boston game last year.

Yeah, I ended up watching it on the internet. I missed the first period and our first goal, but what a game, shame it wasn't televised since that really helped spark the turnaround last year.

Re: Tuesday vs Canucks tv?
I think vancouver tv has it, so if you have center ice you should get the game.
I predict Brewer with the hat trick and a +6 rating...just to piss everyone off.

To disagree, one doesn't have to be disagreeable.

I would be ecstatic at that.northwest dave wrote:I think vancouver tv has it, so if you have center ice you should get the game.

Re: Tuesday vs Canucks tv?
Come now. Brewer doesn't score goals or create goals, unless they happen to be for the other team. He's more often just out there on the ice when the other team scores and everyone's afraid to connect the dots.northwest dave wrote:I think vancouver tv has it, so if you have center ice you should get the game.

Re: Tuesday vs Canucks tv?
This game will be telecast on Sportsnet Pacific.
sportsnet.ca
Internet streams:
http://www.justin.tv/hockey68
http://www.atdhe.net/watchtv.html
3-2 Canucks
Ryan Kesler with the winner!
Bong Bong Bong
Raycroft will be the starting goalie. Lui is the back up - recovering from broken ribs and flu.
Hoping for Janssen to accept an invitation from Rypien.
**
Do you guys realize that it is cheaper for a Canuck fan to fly to (insert any west coast, American NHL city), stay in a hotel and buy tickets to the game - than it is to watch a game in Vancouver?
Parking $30, burger+fries+beer x2 = $40, tickets to a sold out game $250+ (over 270 consecutive sellouts)
The Canucks have a season ticket base representing approximately 90 per cent of their arena capacity (18,630) for the fifth consecutive season this year – a virtual lock for continued sell outs.

Man. I would hate to shell out that kind of dough for the perennial second round losses. At least we used to get by with similar results on the cheap, game by game.Prison Bull wrote:Do you guys realize that it is cheaper for a Canuck fan to fly to (insert any west coast, American NHL city), stay in a hotel and buy tickets to the game - than it is to watch a game in Vancouver?

Not necessarily.northwest dave wrote:I think vancouver tv has it, so if you have center ice you should get the game.
Since it is a home game, other broadcasts are automatically blacked out, even if it isn't televised locally.
We have to hope that the Blues lift the blackout restriction, which they have done quite a bit in previous seasons.

That sucks for the average fan who can't afford season tickets but still wants to go to a few games a season.
Good luck picking up tickets without going to a broker or splitting season tickets with a bunch of people.
I think a lot of teams put a cap on the number of season tickets they sell so there are enough tickets available for each game, at least to start the season, so the average fan can pick up the occasional ticket and go to a game here or there. I guess Vancouver doesn't cap their season ticket sales?
Vancouver: The same playoff futility as St. Louis, but it costs you a week's pay to go to one of their games.

But hey...they're making a crapload of money. Good for them.

Think of all the money we save not buying 3rd/4th round tix.

Many of those "season tix" sales are smaller packages. (11 game, etc)
In Vancouver, people are also lucky enough to have to pay just to get in line to buy season tickets when/if they become available.

Do they charge you each time you say "Go Canucks" too?
Wait...did I just get charged for that?

Re: Tuesday vs Canucks tv?
On the Sportsnet feed on Center Ice last night the clock and score disappeared from the screen for a stretch of several minutes. I was starting to wonder if that was a premium upgrade for their pay-per-view system. "Oh, you want to see the clock and the score too? That's an extra 2 bucks."

So, it is just like FSMW?big d note wrote:On the Sportsnet feed on Center Ice last night the clock and score disappeared from the screen for a stretch of several minutes.
I didn't notice it at Wild Wings last night, but FSMW seems to always have some kind of (Frank) up on the scoreboard every game.
