Why? Brewer has 8 goals, that's awesome for this crap ass team. Trade Boyes for a 7th rounder and be done with it.

Why?
Because Brewer has sucked ass for five whole years before this year.
And don't tell me he only sucked because he was hurt. He sucked when he was healthy and the team plays better with him out of the lineup.
Yeah, he has been much better this year, so you get out while the gettin's good. Is he going to play any better than he is now? I doubt it.
His trade value is about as high as it has been since we traded Pronger for him.
Learn from the Oilers. Sell Brewer's stock when it is high.
Get out now.

I'm not against trading Boyes either, but I don't think anyone is going to take him and his salary, and I'd rather the Blues not pay half of his salary for him to play somewhere else. Upgrade the offensive talent in the offseason so you can stick Boyes on the 3rd or 4th line and then any production you get from him is a bonus.

If the Blues can get something for Boyes, Berglund or Brewer, I say trade any and all of them. Of course, I think for us to give up on Berglund, we'd have to get something decent in return...and I think we could get it. He is a RFA next year, so it will be interesting.

Crombeen has very little value...and I'd like the Blues to add some scoring talent in the offseason, and that means someone has to go. And Crombeen is the most expendable. We don't need Crombeen AND Winchester on this team, especially if we are adding offense in the offseason.

I don't want to see EJ traded. You hold on to him unless you get something great in return. I think he should be about as close to untouchable as any player is on this team.
I'd like to see what Tarasenko can do for us...but with him hurt now, he's not going anywhere. He'll be in training camp next year for us...count on it. This organization doesn't give up on good young talent.
