Face value??
Not sure what face value this section is. But I went on Seat Geek and got 2 lower bowl tix, side that the Blues shoot once, for 67 apiece (w/ fees factored in). So tix were actually like 53 or so, plus fees.
Wow seriously? That's a steal I'd pay $60 for a playoff game in a heartbeat! Especially lower bowl
That's a steal. Paid only slightly less than that for 6 rows from the top to see the Red Wings game in January. It's troubling though that the price has dropped so much for a playoff game. Building damn well better be full.
I would assume that it will be. There weren't a whole lot of options on Seat Geek, and that pulls in from durn near every ticket resale site out there. Someone must have just really wanted to get rid of some tickets at the last minute, because there were seats up top going for the same, if not more.

Enjoy cheap tickets if you can get 'em. I'm paying $110 face value for my season seats for highest level nosebleed - and this is only round 1. These were $60 five years ago for round 1. As for regular season games I've gone from $35 face per seat per game to now $95 for the upcoming 2015-2016 season. Whenever the Blues do win the cup someday prepare to bend over cause they will keep jacking your prices up. Believe me you will reflect fondly back on the days you were able to get tickets this cheap.

It's going to seem even longer when 7pm hits and we have to wait another hour and a half yet.

A couple years ago I was in Vegas for the beginning of the playoffs. Let me tell you, it's fantastic to be able to watch what would be a 9:30 PM start here in NY when it's actually 6:30 PM there. If there was ever a good reason to move to the Pacific time zone, 6:30 or 7 being considered a "late game" would be it.

Is there a bet between Mayor Slay and the Minneapolis mayor on this series? Usually they do something like that.

No, though that would certainly affect my game viewing habits.

I spent ~6 weeks in Vegas in 2009 during the playoffs and had the same thought. It was so nice for every game to start at a reasonable time no matter what.

I would love to get home from work, turn on the game, eat dinner during the 2nd intermission and be able to relax after the game was over instead of staring at the clock worrying about the prospect of overtime. On the other hand, I would certainly not love living in or around Vegas being paid peanuts, or living in California being taxed up the wazoo. So there is that.

Seriously - Game 1 starts in 1 minute and there's still 8 minutes of the Rangers game on NBCSN. (Frank) you tv stations! It better be on another channel here in Oregon..

NBCSN - Rangers
CNBC - Red Wings
USA - Law & Order
NHLN - Studio talk show

Assholes - I want to see every minute of the game and they've failed.

The Blues have been a lot sloppier than The Wild, so far (through The 1st). The Wild have looked pretty sharp, and are playing better positionally. They are not allowing The Blues to get into the scoring areas very much. The Wild has had several good rushes. I'm not happy with the play, so far. The Blues look shaky.

They'd better come out on fire in The 2nd.

The Blues are healthy, came in on a hot streak and have the right goalie in the game. Why do they have no skating jump and are very shaky with the puck, seemingly with no confidence? Why are they letting a weaker Wild team dictate the play?

Not a terribly exciting game... Let's hope they do something in the 3rd period...
