Didn't quite make it in time since the Game has already started and Sundqvist has already scored...

failed to score on a 2 minute 5-on-3 and really didn't generate any quality chances.

That feels like a very hollow win. 0-7 on the power play? Gtfo.

13 by multiple teams - Thrashers '-05; Bluejackets '03; Lightning '01; Oilers '98 and Sabres '95 (@ the Blues yet the Sabres still won 2-0 in typical Blues fashion)

It's called a Pyrrhic victory.
The record for most power plays without a goal is 36, set by the Rangers in the 13-14 season. 1 for 16 in the current era, though, is beyond pitiful. With the rules changes over the past 10 years to eliminate what defenders can do... attacking the middle more often should be a theme, but the Blues seem content to play the 1-3-1 and rely on the 3/5s on the outside instead of possibly adding a 2nd attacker to the front of the net where defenders can't manhandle forwards like they did for most of the past 5 decades.

Still need to watch the game, which probably won't happen until Sunday, but the first 2 minutes, 45 seconds the Blues were dominating. Perunovich's presence was noticeable on his one shift in that short time span with 2 keep-ins, cutting off Zucker without playing the puck in the neutral zone on his off wing (yes, that matters, because Zucker couldn't get to the puck simply because Perunovich took an angle to cut him off), and an entry after cutting off Zucker. IMO, this is the kind of support offensively the Blues are missing that Krug hasn't been providing. I know, Perunovich is playing in Tucker's spot, but that shift by Perunovich we haven't seen from any Blues defenseman this season, not even Parayko.
My opinion could change watching the whole game, but that shift stands out.
