Internal cleansing by panchakarma

For the purpose of purification and rejuvenation it is essential that best panchakarma therapy must be done as per Ayurvedic principles. Since Ayurveda establishes the fact that the internal impurities that have accumulated over time is responsible for most of the diseases seen today and therefore internal cleansing plays a pivotal role in keeping away from infections. It is considered way better to prevent the onset of diseases rather than going behind all forms of therapies available under the sky. A series of five therapeutic measures exclusively for cleaning the system are performed as a prelude to other stages of treatment based on the type of disease. During the process of panchakarma therapy the patient is subjected to herbal massages, steam fomentation, purgation and emesis through herbs and nasal administration of oil. It is an extensive cleansing program and the body as to be prepared for the program. Panchakarma therapy is not only recommended for the sick but also for the healthy people and it is effective for reducing anxiety, depression, arthritis, management of different kinds of pain, neurological problems, eye diseases to name a few. The spectrum of diseases that Ayurveda covers is vast and any vitiation in the constitution can be brought back to balance by ayurvedic systems of healing. Diet and life style plays an important causative role in diseases and this must be strictly kept under control so as to prevent further damages to the system. Being physically active and adhering to naturalistic principles is effective.
