Re: GDT: Blues vs. Islanders 7 pm CDT (FSMW, KMOX)
I think if Murray can get his head out of his ass and see what happened tonight, he might change his ways of thinking and let this team play a more aggressive offense. The Islander announcers made mention of the fact that the Blues have: 1) won every game in which they scored 3 or more goals, 2) averaged over 4 goals per win, and 3) averaged just barely above 1 goal per loss (regulation and otherwise)
The writing's on the wall. Mur NEEDS to see that and recognize what kind of team he has here.

Fantastic goal by David Perron...I'd really like to see this team score 3 or 4 goals per game....that would give them a fighting chance to have a legitimate shot at going deep into the playoffs.
So....let's see how well things go agains the Bruins on Monday...it would be great to have a winning record on the current homestand!

Ridiculous goal. Blues players have the talent, that showed it. I'm just glad he didn't just throw it on net and actually did something with it. Probably went back to the bench and Murray lectured him for not following the game plan. Probably not, but wow. Totally not part of the game plan to score goals like that. AWESOME!

Its about time he got his head out of his ass and played like he should, now if the rest of the slackers would play up to their ability.

The game plan should be to do whatever it takes to win. Maybe after seeing Perron make total fools out of the Islanders on that goal, Mur will allow some more flexibility in the creativity department and let the kids make things happen. The minute we see that happen, this team embarks on a 15 game win streak because they're just that capable.TSUCookieMonster wrote:FTFY -PangKrigloch the Furious wrote:holy JUMPIN'!!! that was an awesome goal!!!
