Re: The Guardian Project
That's the final design.
I love how we get to be a bad guy. What hero has had mind control as a power? How do you use mind control for good? Plus, he looks like some sort of freaky trans-dimensional child raper.
I love how his hands are all huge and reaching out for your junk or whatever.
Hey kids, listen to this music... yes, yes... good, now get in my space van.
What's that? Nooooo! It's the valiant Red Wing, here to stop my sinister plot. Curse you Red Wing!

....The Blue is quiet, reserved and mysterious. He's the guy that sits in the back corner of any room, blending in with his surroundings. Though he is the coolest of the Guardians, he could care less what others think. Like many of the Guardians, The Blue is deeply influenced by music and his preferred style is obvious although his connection to it goes much deeper. In look, the Blue's only visible features on his face are two glowing yellow eyes.
The Blue can't fly, but he can jump from buildings and airplanes by expanding the coat he wears and he glides toward the ground. At his side is his trusty sax, and the music he plays has telepathic qualities, which allow him to control the minds of his weak-minded foes. At a moment's notice, the Blue can create a portal shaped like a smaller version of the St. Louis Arch. He jumps through the arch and can teleport himself to and from any location on earth.

You know, I think it's the best of all of them. I kinda like The Bruin as well...and The Canadien, mainly because it looks like Cobra Commander.Winning Unlimited wrote:

He's the guy that lurks at the bottom of the standings, blending in with the bottomfeeders. Though he is the coolest of the Guardians, he could care less what others think especially his fans. Like many of the Guardians, The Blue is deeply influenced by music and his preferred style is obvious although his connection to it goes much deeper involving repetitive arm flailing signalling a forthcoming 2 minutes of futility. In action, the Blue's trademark is his blown two goal lead.
The Blue can't fly (or skate), but he can instantly warp to the penalty box by meekly impeding the progress of the opposition while inflicting no actual pain. At his side is his trusty organ, and the music he plays has telepathic qualities, which allow him to control the minds of his weak-minded teammates turning their gloves to cement and even causing them to shoot at their own net. At a moment's notice, the Blue can create a portal shaped like a smaller version of the St. Louis Arch. He jumps through the arch and can teleport himself to and from any location on earth except for a championship parade.

Re: The Guardian Project
Agreed. I think the Blue is one of the top looking drawings. I mean, this is just something to draw kids in. Of course we don't like it much. I'm very glad to see that the Red Wing and Blackhawk are pretty terrible.cprice12 wrote:You know, I think it's the best of all of them. 100% dead on to draw in more kids! My 6 year old sat and watched it durring the break today, was very interested in it. He likes spider man, Iron man, and all the old stand by comic book heros. Nice move for the NHL to get kids more involved in the sport. I could see a saturday morning cartoon of sorts would really draw in kids for brand reconition!!!!! I agree the Blues,The bruins and the Devils have the coolest comic creations.
