i think stewart and backes should stick together just as much as oshie and bergland. It's only been one game and people wanna break them apart. what gives. right now we have 2 solidifed lines that will take out the opponents at the knees, why break up a good thing.

Well since the first game, the Av's posters now refer to EJ as "Dion Phaneuf." I think EJ wrote a mighty big check to cash claiming he will make us regret the trade.

now that he scored his status has been reupgraded to "Bobby Orr."

Anyone here Peter Stastny on the radio with Kelly Chase?

He was PISSED about the trade. He even said, "It makes me SO MAD that they did this. They set their team back 3 years."

Chase: "First time I'm speechless."

Kerber: "I guess you could take that as a kudos for Blues GM Armstrong."

It was unbelievable to hear him talk like that. I have never known a Stastny to be angry. Expect for if its at Yan. I mean, come on. The guy has no talent.

lol, they played that on the way home from the game last night. At one point Stastny said, "I shouldn't be saying this." Usually if that thought crosses your mind, it's accurate. It has to make their locker room awkward I would think.

On topic: Sounds like what we heard as rumors are the same thing Milbury heard - Johnson quit progressing and wasn't listening to the coaches. Surprise - he gets traded and in the first game he plays against the Blues he does all the crap the coaches were asking him to do before he was traded - except hitting - the goober.
